Launched in 2002, one year after the premature death of the great scientist whose name they bear, the journées Louis-André Gérard-Varet aim to stimulate the production and dissemination of quality research in public economics, focusing on results that contribute significantly to informing public debate and/or decision-making. This path is followed by the research community at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE).
